EduQuantum: From classroom to future careers
Inspire your students to explore the possibilities in quantum science and technology

Connect Your Students to the Quantum Future
Step inside Australia’s emerging quantum ecosystem and discover how to bring this exciting field into your classroom or career conversations. Many students aren’t yet aware of the career opportunities emerging in quantum technologies, an industry set to create thousands of Australian jobs over the next decade. Teachers and career advisers play a vital role in helping students explore these possibilities. EduQuantum gives educators hands-on experiences, and insights to inspire students and connect them with future careers.
As the world marks the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, there’s never been a better time to explore how quantum innovation is reshaping Australia’s future workforce.
We invite all NSW high school teachers as well as career advisors, to a special one-day event at CSIRO Lindfield — home to some of Australia’s most advanced research facilities.
Why Attend:
Exclusive Guided Lab Tours
Take a rare, behind-the-scenes look at one of Australia’s most unique innovation spaces at CSIRO Lindfield on Sydney’s North Shore. Explore state-of-the-art labs in quantum technologies, precision measurement, and micro- and nano-fabrication, where tomorrow’s innovations are developed. Bring back ideas to inspire your students’ curiosity, learning, and career ambitions. There are two tours on offer:
Quantum Optics – Experience the science of light and quantum phenomena first-hand. Learn how researchers study photons, lasers, and entanglement to push the boundaries of technology.
Prototyping & Development – Step inside the labs where quantum devices are designed and built. See how prototypes are developed, tested, and prepared for real-world applications.
