The Covid-19 pandemic has shown how susceptible our world is to human and economic turmoil and has cast science into the global spotlight. This event will focus on biological breakthroughs and emerging quantum technologies that are tackling some of the greatest challenges of our time.
Hear a keynote from Po Bronson, Managing Director of IndieBio, the world’s leading science accelerator, and in conversation with Dr. Cathy Foley, Australia’s Chief Scientist facilitated by Holly Ransom, CEO, Emergent. They will then be joined, in a panel discussion, by Peter Turner, CEO, Sydney Quantum Academy and Assoc. Prof. Parwinder Kaur, Director, DNA Zoo Australia, University of Western Sydney and Co-founding Director & CSO, Ex Planta Pty. Ltd.
This event is part of the Visiting Entrepreneur Program, an annual City of Sydney initiative that connects international entrepreneurs with our local startup ecosystem. The 1-10 June 2021 program puts a spotlight on transformative technologies tackling major global challenges, with an emphasis on biotechnology and quantum technology.
