Semiconductors are the single most important technology on the planet, underpinning all advanced capabilities from quantum, AI, defence, renewables, electronics, aviation, to biomedical applications – semiconductors power it all.

The global semiconductor industry is set to become an annual US$1 trillion-dollar sector by the end of the decade driven by the electrification and digitisation transition. Despite this critical importance, semiconductors are one of the least understood technologies locally.

Semiconductor Australia 2024 brings together the nation's nascent semiconductor industry, who are making strides in the global chips race - to advance national capability and capacity in this critical space.
