Gordon Godfrey Workshop on Spins, Topology and Strong Electron Correlations
Date: 24–27 November 2025 Location: School of Physics, The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia
The 2025 Gordon Godfrey Workshop will cover key topics in quantum and condensed matter physics, including:
Spins and pseudospins, magnetism, and correlations in low-dimensional systems and nanostructures
Topological physics and materials
Phase transitions, superconductivity, and Bose condensation
Correlations and active defects in solids
Approaches for neuromorphic technologies
Poster Session: An informal poster session for students and early career researchers will be held during the workshop. To participate, simply provide a poster title in the online registration form.
The workshop is named in honour ofProfessor Gordon Godfrey, whose bequest supports the promotion of theoretical physics at UNSW.
