Are you ready for quantum?

Sydney Quantum Academy (SQA) has commissioned Snapcracker Research to conduct the Quantum Future Needs Assessment - a research study about quantum technology and workforce needs in Australia.

The research is designed to gauge the level of awareness and understanding of quantum technology, explore training and recruitment needs for quantum skills, and understand the barriers for organisations to adopt emerging quantum technology.

The outcomes of the research will help inform the development of future quantum education and training programs and course content.  A summary of the results will also be shared publicly (in a de-identified form) in 2023.

How do I get involved?

Complete the online survey which should take around 10-15 minutes.

We're seeking responses from across Australia and industry sectors.  Private and public sector organisations, large and small, are encouraged to complete the survey.  We are hoping to understand the needs of the future users of quantum technology, and also of the companies which will supply quantum products and services.  If you are in academia operating in a dual role at a university and within industry, please complete this survey in your industry capacity, representing a private or public sector organisation.

Please feel free to share this page with others you think may make suitable respondents.  Contact us at info.sqa@sydney.edu.au if you require assistance completing or sharing the survey. If you have any questions about the study or survey, you can also contact Snapcracker Research at andrew@snapcracker.com.au.

This study is approved by the University of Sydney Human Research Ethics Committee (2021/834).
