Our inaugural Quantum Australia conference and careers fair united world-leading quantum researchers, businesses, government officials, startups, and tech giants, fostering a dynamic exchange of developments and ideas. The event took place both online and in person, from 23-25 February 2022, in Sydney.
With over 800 enthusiastic participants, the conference and careers fair attracted a diverse array of quantum enthusiasts, creating a vibrant atmosphere for collaboration and exploration.
The event featured 70 research posters, 19 panels and presentations, and 63 speakers and panellists from across the quantum industry in Australia and overseas. Over 20 sponsors and exhibitors also took part including Xanadu, CSIRO, Google, IBM, PsiQuantum, QuintessenceLabs, EY, and many more.
THE PROGRAM
Conference 23-24 February 2022 - online and in-person at Doltone House
Attendees heard from those driving the development of the quantum economy including government decision-makers, world-leading researchers, venture capitalists, startups, and big tech. The event was live-streamed and included an exhibitor hall on site and online.
Quantum Careers Fair 25 February 2022 – online only
Attendees were able to join the fully online careers fair, which connected students and researchers with employers.
